Techland has refuted the rumours that Dying Light 2 is in jeopardy, and claims that the gamy is "in ample shape."
Polski Gamedev published a report on the state of production at the studio, with anonymous Techland employees stating that "morale is at an uncomparable squat" and people are operative until "9-10pm." The account is in Polish, and the translations come from this thread of Tweets that attempted to paraphrase the interviews from Polski Gamedev. The thread also claims that in that location is a "big war finished characters, fractions [sic], their motivations and their character developing, symmetric how quests are going to look suchlike," and developers are leaving the company payable to hepatotoxic working conditions. And, Microsoft is going to acquire Techland, and Dying Light 2 is no yearner a 2020 release, allegedly.

Olla Sondej, a senior Public relations manager for the studio, has discredited this translation of the report from Polski Gamedev. It is "entirely inaccurate," she said, and "development of Anxious Light 2 is stimulating forward, the pun's in good shape (and in good men), so worry non." Techland is still independent, and the game appears to be on track for where it needs to glucinium. In January, we received news program that Dying Light 2 would be delayed unsuccessful of its spring 2020 release window.
"We apologise for this unwished-for news," said the studio apartment. "Our priority is to deliver an experience that lives up to our possess high standards and to the expectations of you, our fans." We haven't gotten an update about the sequel since then, but perhaps, Techland is hard at work preparing a reveal for one of the Xbox 20/20 updates from Microsoft. That's only a guess, though.
